Designed for volume optimization and lightweight performance, this Innofreight system enables a 45% increase in payload compared to conventional transport methods.

The Montainer XXXML container, combined with Innofreight’s 2x30 ft InnoWaggon, is redefining the transportation of scrap materials in the steel industry. A test operation at the port of Dillingen in 2024 showcased the container’s ability to handle various types of scrap, including shredded, baled, old, and heavy scrap. The Montainer XXXML's compatibility with multiple material types underscores its adaptability and effectiveness in logistics solutions for recycling industries.

Operational efficiency

Loading the Montainer XXXML is conducted via crane, while unloading is managed by Innofreight’s forklift, capable of processing up to 600 tonnes per hour. The streamlined unloading process allows a single container to be emptied in just 90 seconds. For larger volumes, a stationary unloading machine can move up to 1,200 tonnes per hour, further enhancing scalability and operational efficiency.

This method minimizes time spent on-site, reduces material handling damage, and increases safety during operations.
